Mrs. Meghan Chavez

Hello!

My name is Meghan Chavez. This is my first year teaching at Waynesville High School. I graduated from Olivet Nazarene University with a Bachelor's of Science in Zoology and a minor in Chemistry back in 2017. I also graduated from Olivet with a Master's in Business Administration: Leadership in 2019. I am currently working on a second Masters in Secondary Education through Columbia College. 

I moved to Missouri in 2017 where I met my husband, Andrew, at Fort Leonard Wood. We have three fur babies: Lio (pitbull/shepherd), Rocco (Staffy), and Alvin (cat). We love to stay active in our community. In my free time, you can find me at our local crossfit gym or fishing! 

Here are some fun facts about me:

- I used to be a zookeeper!

- I have studied abroad in Costa Rica and Alaska

- I enjoy 5Ks. We try to do 3 a year
