Ms. Karissa Butcher

Greetings everyone!  My name is Karissa Butcher, and I am a 10th grade ELA and Pre-Ap ELA 10 teacher at Waynesville High School for the 2023-2024 school year.  This is my first year in the Waynesville District, but it is my 16th year in the field of education.  I am a continuous learner! I am currently working on my Specialist degree at Arkansas State University.  I am a wife and mother of five kiddos, and a house full of animals.   I love coffee, Snickers and Payday candy bars.  My students will see me with a coffee cup every day, and it will often be lost in the classroom at some point.  I am excited about being your ELA teacher!  I can't wait to meet you and get to work with you this year!
