About Me

Hello and welcome to my webpage. My name is Karl Wilking and I am the rootEd Missouri (College and Career) Advisor of the Waynesville School District. I am a proud graduate of Waynesville High School and this is my 30th year working in the school district. My previous duties were as a teacher, coach and transportation director. My new role as a college and career advisor is to ensure every high school senior has a post-high school plan and I will work directly with them to make that plan a reality.

What I Do

I work along with the counselors at Waynesville High School to help students develop a post-high school plan. Deciding what to do after high school can be hard,so I'm here to provide support on all but not limited to: 

Career Exploration, Assisting with College Applications, FAFSA, Financial Aid/Scholarships, Military, Workforce and Apprenticeships, Develop a Post High School Plan, Provide Resources and Support.
