Mrs. Daisia Walker

Hello, and welcome to 1st grade! My name is Daisia Walker. I am from Carrollton, Georgia. I am a proud Army wife and mama. I attended Valdosta State University, where I pursued  a Bachelors in Elementary Education. I am excited to begin my teaching  journey here at Thayer Elementary. 

My philosophy of education is that I believe all students have the ability to learn and grow academically, personally and socially. It is my job to build relationships with students to encourage not only educational success, but personal and social success as well. 

I am excited to work with a wonderful class of students and to get to know their families. This school year, we will have opportunities for Fun, Learning, and New adventures in education!
