Hello! My name is Sydney Garcia and I am so excited about getting to know you and your family. I am sure we are going to have an amazing year of learning and making memories together.

A little bit about me, I graduated with my Bachelors in Elementary Education from Drury University. Though it is my first year teaching at Waynesville, it is my third year as an educator. I previously taught 4th-6th grade special education and 5th grade general education. Before becoming an educator, I worked as a paraprofessional within the Waynesville School District, so I'm happy to be back! My fiance Kristopher and I have two spunky little girls that are 7 months and 20 months old. In my spare time I enjoy various activities with my daughters.
