Ms. Shanel Leighty

Hello!  My name is Shanel Leighty!  I am so happy to be co-teaching and supporting kids in their classroom environment this year.  I know we will grow and become great learners. 

I am from the Lake of the Ozarks and I have many years of teaching.  I have spent time in all elementary grades.  I look forward to working with so many wonderful students and families here in the Waynesville District. 

In my free time, I enjoy playing with my puppy Millie, working in my garden, exploring new places, and decorating my home. 

I can’t wait to see all the new things we will learn this year!
