Mrs. Jessica McBride

My name is Jessica McBride. I am looking forward to a year filled with fun, engaging, and new learning experiences. I cannot wait to see all that your child will learn and how much they grow this year!

This will be my second year teaching! I graduated from James Madison University in Virginia with my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies in 2019 and then in 2020 I graduated with my Master of Arts in Teaching in Elementary Education. 

I am originally from Northern Virginia and moved to Waynesville in October 2020! I am an army wife! We have an energetic cattle dog named Luna and a mountain cur mixed named Hazel. In my free time, I spend a lot of reading, crafting, and cooking! Most of my time is spent with family and friends!

My goal for this year is to make sure all children feel welcomed and safe in our learning environment. I want the classroom to be a place where they look forward to coming to each and every day! I cannot wait to learn and grow alongside your child. I look forward to getting to know you and your child! If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to me throughout the year.
