Mrs. Candice Newbury

Hello!
Welcome to fifth grade!!! My name is Mrs. Newbury, I am so excited to meet you all.

This will be my seventh year of teaching, but my third year with Waynesville School district. I have my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and my Masters in Educational Psychology-School Counseling.  My husband and I moved here in the summer of 2020 from Alaska.  I have a daughter and will also be welcoming a little boy in the winter of 2023. 

This year will be filled with many new learning experiences and plenty of good times that we will cherish. I am looking forward to having you all in my classroom.
