Hello, my name is Michelle Brand! 

Welcome to First Grade!

I am so excited for the opportunity to get to know you and your child this year. I have been in the Waynesville School District since 2020 and have been teaching first grade since 2021.

Our classroom is a place to succeed, feel safe, and be valued.

I graduated from Southwest Baptist University with a degree in Elementary Education. I married my husband, Tate, in 2019 and we have two dogs, Duncan and Graham. In my spare time I enjoy going outside, hanging out with friends and family, and working on creative projects.
