Mr. Gladston Phinn

Hello My name is Gladston Phinn and I will be your child’s 4th and 5th grade special education teacher in a co-taught classroom for this school year. I have been working at East Elementary since 2015. I was born and raised on the tropical island of Jamaica and moved to the United States when I was eleven. I graduated from Mahwah High School in New Jersey and then immediately joined the Army.  I retired from the Army back in 2015 and have now called Missouri home. I am married to a wonderful teacher that's also an employee of the district and we are raising our three boys who are also students here in the district. 

I am very excited to be your child's teacher and looking forward to an awesome year of learning, especially during this unpredictable particular time. Your child's education is my number one priority and with your support we will accomplish great things. In my spare time I enjoy building things around the house or going on a run.
