Mrs. Parrish

Welcome to 3nd Grade!

My name is Mrs. Parrish and I will be your 3nd grade teacher this year. This will be my third year as a teacher. However, I have been a paraprofessional since 2013 here at East Elementary. I have worked in the Autism room, ELL room, and as a Librarian assistant. I am excited to be your teacher! This school year will be filled with fun activities, lots of learning and new adventures!

My husband's name is Ron. He retired from the Army after twenty-four years as a Tank Commander. We have two beautiful adult daughters and an adorable granddaughter. Christina is a chemist currently working in Springfield, and she has a beautiful daughter, Marina. Our younger daughter is Amanda and she is attending college studying to become a Speech Pathologist. Her and her wonderful husband, Garrett, live in Colorado. 

I grew up in El Paso, TX and lived there until I married my husband. We decided to reside in Plato, Missouri. We enjoy spending time together as a family and appreciating all that Missouri has to offer.
