Welcome to WSGC! My name is Kodie Pendergrass and I will be teaching ELA 2022-2023 school year! My goal is that every student who enters my classroom feels welcome and loved!

This will be my third year teaching at the Sixth Grade Center but my 8th year in education. I graduated from Drury University in December of 2019. I am Elementary Education certified. Prior to teaching, I was a paraprofessional for five years. 

I was born and raised in Greenbrier, Arkansas but I currently reside in Stoutland, MO with my husband and our three daughters. My husband's name is Jake, our oldest daughter's name is Kinsleigh, our middle daughter's name is Brynlee, and our youngest daughter's name is Wrenley! Kinsleigh turned five in July of 2022, Brynlee will turn three in March of 2023, and Wrenley was born in November of 2022. Outside of school, you can find me spending time on our farm, at the ball park, or shopping!
