Mrs. Megan Pimentel

Thank you for visiting my page. I am one of two School Counselors at East Elementary. I will be working with students in grades K - 2nd. I am also the High School Assistant Girls Soccer Coach.

I graduated with my B.S. in Business Administration from Concord University in WV in 2007 where I also played collegiate soccer for 4 years. In 2014 I earned my Masters in Education from Liberty University in VA and in 2021 my Masters in School Counseling from Missouri Baptist University in MO. I was a Vocational Business Education teacher, FBLA Adviser, Student Council Sponsor, and Senior Class Sponsor before becoming a School Counselor. I started Counseling in the Waynesville School district in 2019. 

My husband and I have been married since 2010 and we have 3 children who keep us busy. Our family lives on a farm where we enjoy spending time together and with friends. During my vacation time I enjoy going back home to Virginia and spending the summer at the Outer Banks.
