Mrs. Whealton

Welcome to 1st Grade!

Hello! I am very eager and excited to work with your family this upcoming school year. I look forward to getting to know you and your child throughout the year. Communication and strong relationships are essential to student success. I would like to take some time to introduce myself.

I relocated with my husband to the Fort Leonard Wood area from Chincoteague Island, Virginia. We are a proud Army family! I started my teaching career in 2013. I have taught first, third and fourth grade. I earned my bachelors degree from Lebanon Valley College in Early Childhood and Special Education. I went on to earn a masters degree from Old Dominion University in Educational Leadership and Supervision.

When I am not at school I can be found outdoors. I enjoy the beach, kayaking, camping, and spending time with my family. I have an older sister and younger brother, who both live in Pennsylvania. I am the proud mommy to an almost 1-year-old little girl. Family is very important to me, and I cannot wait to work closely with you to ensure a successful school year for your child. Do not hesitate to contact me at any time with questions or concerns. The best way to contact me is via e-mail or Remind.

It is going to be a great school year at Partridge Elementary. I am proud to be a Tiger!
