Hello there!

My name is Joel Wald and I have been working in the educational field since 2003. 

I attended Northwest Missouri State University and earned my bachelor’s degree in elementary education in 2001.  I also attended a year of master’s classes while there in 2002-2003.

I have two children of my own, four step-daughers, and two foster childen. 

Away from teaching, I enjoy a variety of sports, both in watching and playing.  I also enjoy reading when I can find the right book.  When not playing or reading, I enjoy catching my favorite tv shows.  Another activity I enjoy greatly is cooking and baking, as I owned and operated a restaurant for year. 

I’m excited to be at Waynesville Schools again and in the middle school teaching math.  I look forward to working with you and getting to know you better.
