Mrs. Camiel Laurie

Hello and welcome to a what is going to be a wonderful year in 4th grade. I am excited to be your child's teacher this year and look forward to a year of growth and success! This is my sixth year in the Waynesville District.  I am excited to take the journey with you and your child. Please feel free to ask me anything!

Here is a little bit about me. I started here at East and in the Waynesville School District in the 2016/2017 school year . I previously taught  3rd grade in Prince George's County in Maryland. I graduated college in 2014 with a Bachelors in Elementary Education. I grew up in Mishawaka, a small town in northern Indiana, and have lived all over the world.  I have two wonderful daughters, Morgan 13 and Jillian 10. When I am not at school my family and I love to be outdoors fishing, hiking, and swimming. I am not a coffee drinker, which most teachers are!  We are a football family and love to cheer for our local hometown college the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. I love the Chicago Bears! I love all kinds of music and we will listen to lots of music in our classroom!
