Robert Crabtree, Assistant Principal

  •  Welcome to Waynesville Middle School.  My name is Robert Crabtree and I am the assistant principal for 8th grade students at WMDS.  I am beginning my 23rd year in education, and my fifth year as an assistant principal at Waynesville Middle School.  In 1998, I began my teaching career at Laquey Middle School. In 2000, I made the move to Waynesville Middle School as a social studies teacher. I transferred to the high school in 2007 to continue teaching social studies.  Before I became an assistant principal at WMDS, I served as the high school Technology Integration Specialist.

My wife and I are both educators in the Waynesville School District, and together we have 3 children.  My oldest daughter Morgan is a Speech Pathologist for the Ozark School District, and my son Mason is beginning his master's program at Missouri State in Springfield.  My youngest daughter McKenna will be starting college at OTC this fall in Springfield.  My wife and I are both very proud of our children and value the opportunities that a good solid education has provided our kids.

I look forward to the opportunity to work with staff, parents, and students to make this year successful.  I firmly believe that in order for our school and students to be successful, it is extremely important to have parental support.  Through our collective efforts, we can create the optimal environment for our students to succeed.  If I can be of any assistance to you or if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me via email or phone.  Thank you for the opportunity to play a role in the education of your child, and I look forward to a great upcoming school year at WMDS.
