Welcome to First Grade at East Elementary! It is an honor to be your child's teacher and share this special time with you. I'm excited to have the opportunity to get to know your child, and I'm looking forward to a productive school year. First grade is hard work and we work at a very fast pace. I will do my very best to keep you informed of your child's progress and upcoming events. 
 
I have lived in the Waynesville area all of my life and attended school in the Waynesville R-VI School District. When I am not teaching or planning great things for class, I LOVE to spend time with my 3 daughters and husband. We like to travel and spend time outdoors. Fall is my favorite season here in Missouri, it is a very colorful time of the year.
