Mr. Michael Clutts

I started teaching in the Waynesville School District in 2016 coming from Belle High School in Belle, MO where I taught for 5 years. I began my teaching career in the Blair Oaks School District in Jefferson City, MO. I have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and am certified in Business and in Special Education. I have been in Special Education for 7 years. I came to Waynesville as the Aternative At-Risk teacher at the high school. I was at the high school for two years until I received the opportunity to move over to the Waynesville Career Center as the Career and Technical Resource Educator. I also coach football and girls basketball in the district.
I am originally from Godfrey, Illinois and have lived in Kentucky, Illinois, Virgina, Maryland, Texas, Mississippi, South Dakota, Montana, California and Missouri. I have been married to my wife Tammy for 23 years. I enjoy playing golf and bowling in my spare time. We are very excited to be a part of the Waynesville Tiger family.
I love the Tiger family and I am excited to continue working for this great district at the Waynesville Career Center.

  • Vocational Resource Educator

    The Vocational Resource Educator is a non-teaching, professional staff member who serves as a resource person in the process of mainstreaming students with disabilities. The VRE assists with career education program placement, goal setting, curriculum modification and acquisition of resource materials. The VRE also acts as a liaison with other school personnel to help students make the transition from school to employment or further training.
