Mrs. Melissa Borgos

Hello, my name is Melissa Borgos and I am very excited to be teaching First Grade at Freedom Elementary this year. This is my 6th year in the district. I have been an elementary teacher since 2006. As a military spouse, I've had the opportunity to teach in several states, including Colorado, Texas, Iowa, and Mississippi. We have two kids, Aaron, 28 and Sarah, 19. When I'm not teaching, I love to read, hike, travel, and have family game nights. My favorite color is purple and I love butterflies. I am looking forward to having your child in my class this year. I know it will be a fabulous school year!
