• Snack in a Pack Volunteering

    SIAP

    Members of the community are encouraged to participate in SIAP activities. Below is a list of ways volunteers can donate their time. If you are interested in volunteering for SIAP, please email spack@waynesville.k12.mo.us or call (573) 842-2651 for more information on how to become a volunteer.

    Inventory Assistants

    SIAP

    Inventory Assistants work with the SIAP Coordinator, helping to unload all purchases from vehicles and placing all food items on shelves. 

    Packing

    SIAP

    Packers meet every Wednesday at the Snack in a Pack room located in the Pick Educational and Volunteer Facility. Packers fill the bags with food that are delivered to each students; students are welcome to help pack as well!

    1st Wednesday: 09:00am - 10:00am (Organization Volunteers)

    2nd Wednesday: 09:00am - 10:00am (WHS CBI Student Volunteers)

    3rd Wednesday: 1:00pm - 2:00pm (FWCSC Volunteers)

    4th Wednesday: 1:00pm - 2:00pm (Any Volunteers)

    Tote Distribution

     SIAP Delivery

    Tote Distributors pick up the packed totes from the SIAP room located in the Pick Educational and Volunteer Facility each Thursday or Friday morning and deliver the tote directly to their designated school. Extended weekend and holiday totes are at times larger and heavier, and may require a different delivery day. Tote Distributions requires a reliable vehicle.

    Tote Retrievers

    SIAP

    Tote Retrievers are responsible for collecting empty totes from their designated schools and returning the totes to the SIAP room in the Pick Educational and Volunteer Facility. Tote Retrievers may return totes on Monday or Tuesday between 8:00am and 3:00pm.

    Fundraiser Volunteers

    SIAP

    Fundraiser Volunteers support various SIAP fundraising events in numerous ways including holding their own fundraisers and food drives. Volunteers can organize food and fund drives, while others volunteer their time at specific fundraising events.
