I am currently in my 11th year as the Waynesville High School Librarian. I have worked in the Waynesville School District for 30 years and have been an English teacher 19 of those years.  I believe the library should serve as a center for student enrichment and it is my intent to create a library atmosphere which supports the needs of the students both in their academic and personal reading pursuits.

I firmly believe the words of J.K. Rowling,"If you don't like to read, you haven't found the right book." I welcome the opportunities to help staff and students find the perfect books for their individual needs.
