    Schedule of events

    • Noon Students in grades 6-12 dismiss
    • 1 p.m. Students in grades K-5 dismiss
    • 2:30 p.m. Parade (Benton Street to Waynesville Middle School. Arrive early as the streets will close.)
    • 4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. Waynesville-St. Robert Chamber of Commerce Community Pride Night (WHS in front of the gym)
    • 6:30 p.m. Queen Coronation inside Tiger Stadium.*
    • 7 p.m. Kickoff to the varsity football game vs. Bolivar at Tiger Stadium. *Admission to Tiger Stadium is $4 without a pass.

  • Welcome to East Elementary School, a proud member of the Waynesville R-VI School District serving the communities Waynesville, St. Robert, and Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. East serves students that are entering grades K-5 living in Waynesville.

  • School-based health clinic

     

    A school-based health clinic is open at East Elementary and Waynesville High School for Waynesville R-VI students and staff. 

    The NP office will bill a child’s insurance, if any, for the services they receive, but any remaining balance will not be billed to the parents/guardians. The clinic will accept Medicaid, Tri-Care and private insurance. There is no charge to the family if the student is not insured. All treatment is based on parental permission and more information will be provided in the forms that will be sent home to parents/guardians.

  • East Elementary Earns AdvancED Accreditation

     
    East Elementary earned accreditation from AdvancED.  AdvancED is the parent organization of the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI), Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI)This action was taken at the AdvancED Accreditation Commission meeting held in Tempe, Arizona in June 2015.
     
    AdvancED provides nationally-recognized accreditation, the purpose of which is continuous school improvement focused on increasing student performance.  To earn accreditation, schools must meet AdvancED’s high standards, be evaluated by a team of professionals from outside the school and implement a continuous process of school improvement.
