2023 Summer School Information
Waynesville R-VI School District Summer School will be in Session June 1st- June 29th. Classes will be available for students entering grades K-12. Students will enroll in classes based on the grade level they will be in during the upcoming school year. Summer school classes will not be held on Monday, June 19th as we will be observing the Juneteenth holiday. Open enrollment for summer school registration closes on Friday, April 14th. Registrations received after April 14th will be accepted on a space available basis.
Summer School will be hosted at the following locations:
Waynesville High School: Students entering grades 9-12
Waynesville Middle School: Students entering grades 7-8
Waynesville Sixth Grade Center: Students entering grade 6
East Elementary, Freedom Elementary, Partridge Elementary, Thayer Elementary and Wood Elementary: Students entering grades K-5
Additional information regarding summer programming as well as enrollment forms is available in the summer school brochures below. You can also contact the office at your student's school if you have additional questions or if you need additional assistance.
Summer School Registration forms should be submitted to the office at your student's school. Please contact your student's school if you need a copy of the paper form.

Elementary Cutting EDGE STEM Summer School Academy: The Cutting EDGE STEM Academy is available for students entering grades 3-5 in the fall. The registration link will open at 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, 2023, and will close at 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2023. Registrations will be accepted in the order they are received. We will have at least one class at each Elementary Summer School site. Please see the flyer below for more information. The registration link is also below. In addition to submitting a registration request via the link below, you should also submit a Summer School registration form to the office at the building your student attends.
Summer 2023 Cutting EDGE STEM Academy Flyer
The Cutting EDGE STEM Academy link will open at 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, at 4 p.m. and will close 4 p.m on Thursday, April 6th.
