• Scheduling for 21-22 school year

    Welcome to the 2021 – 2022 Waynesville High School scheduling process! It is our hope that this process provides your family and student with the opportunity to engage in discussions about their goals, interests, aspirations, and experiences as they continue to make decisions regarding their courses and also explore the many different opportunities available to them while here at Waynesville High School.

    Counselors will be visiting classrooms on the following dates to start the planning process for the next school year:

    11th Grade: February 8th, 9th, and 11th

    10th Grade: February 16th, 17th, and 19th

    9th Grade: February 22nd, 23rd, and 25th

    Important Information:


    • Students will need to make sure they are able to access their Tyler SIS account because they will be entering their own requests into the computer.

    • If students would like to change a request, they can contact their school counselor to change their request prior to the first day of school.

    • Our GOAL is to ensure that courses are appropriately staffed, class sizes are evenly distributed, and that the learning environments for all students are equitable.

    • All requests must be completed prior to the first day of school.


    A student’s schedule will be changed for the following reasons only:


    • Computer error


    • Prerequisite course not met


    • Duplicate credit


    • Teacher recommendation that the student is misplaced


    Requests for class changes will not be considered for the following reasons:


    • Change of student interest


    • A negative effect of course grade on GPA


    • Not needing the course to graduate
