Desiree Gentle

Hello and welcome to my class. My name is Desiree Gentle and I am excited to be teaching another year for the Waynesville School District. I have been teaching since 2013, and have taught a variety of classes during that time. This year, I will teach AP Literature and Composition, British Literature I & II, Composition, and Advanced Composition. I am also the Co-SGA sponsor this year as well. I am a graduate of Waynesville High school and am excited to be back here teaching. I graduated from Drury University in Springfield, MO with my bachelor’s in English and then continued my education and received my masters in Writing from Lindenwood University in St. Louis, MO. I live in St. Robert with my husband Eric and our three children, Carson, Cooper, and Evelynn.

I am very excited to be a part of the Waynesville team and look forward to getting to know you all better. I have a passion for literature and writing and hope to share that with all my students. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns that may arise this school year.
