  • Parker Fine Arts Building to be renovated

    Parker Fine Arts  Thanks to a federal grant, the Parker Fine Arts Center will be renovated to expand access to early childhood education and to create a community multipurpose facility for presentations, meetings, and small performing arts performances, especially to benefit military-connected families in the community.

    The Waynesville R-VI School District has received notification that the district has been awarded a Defense Communities Infrastructure Program (DCIP) grant in the amount of $677,238 toward the $1,354,475 project. The U.S. Department of Defense’s Office of Economic Adjustment (OEA) has awarded the DCIP grant to the Waynesville R-VI School District, which serves nearby Fort Leonard Wood families.     Traditional students 

    The Waynesville R-VI School District has developed three phases for traditional students. Throughout the 2020-21 school year, students, parents and staff will need to be prepared to adjust quickly, based on the fluid nature of the COVID-19 pandemic.
