Degrees and Certifications:

BS in Business Management

Mr. Jeremiah Garcia

My name is Jeremiah Garcia. I will be turning 28 years old on August 30, 2021. I was born and raised in the Texas panhandle. I graduated from Tulia High School in 2011. I was a student-athlete in which I competed in football and track. In 2013, I joined the United States Army and proudly served for six years as a military policeman. I met my beautiful wife in 2016, and on August 12, 2017, we blended our families. Together, we have six children, and as you could imagine, we are always on the go!

In 2018, I transitioned from soldier to civilian. I began my path to teaching a lot later than most. I attended Columbia College as a business management student, and while pursuing my degree, I had the opportunity to work with children. I started my professional career with children by working as a Youth Care Worker at a behavioral treatment center for kids. I also began volunteering my time as a youth football coach for the Waynesville Youth Football league. In 2019, I had the opportunity to work for the Waynesville School District as a paraprofessional and have been a part of the district since. I am also an 8th-grade assistant football coach and a middle school track coach.

In May 2021, I graduated from Columbia College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. I will begin my Master's in Special Education at Missouri State University this fall. I am extremely honored and ready to put my experiences in leadership and education to use! Again, welcome!

It is a great day to be a Tiger!!!
