Mrs. Wilhelm

Welcome to Mrs. Wilhelm's class!

I am excited to be teaching 4th grade again this year!  This is my tenth year of teaching.  I love learning about new things and anything involved with STEM.  I also enjoy traveling, especially to state and national parks.  I love reading, photography, and fishing with my husband.

I grew up in Kansas on my family’s farm. There I helped work cattle, sheep, and pigs.  I also helped cut, rake, and bale hay during the summer.  One of my favorite memories is fishing with my grandpa!  I have a younger sister who has four kids.  I love spending time with my family when I can visit them in Kansas. I was involved in 4-H as a kid and took part in many different projects.  My favorites were swine and photography.

I am extremely passionate about education.  I graduated from Emporia State University in 2009 with my teaching degree.  I then went to Newman University and received my Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction. I became extremely interested in learning more about STEM, so I went back to school last year and received another Master’s focusing on Elementary STEM as an Instructional Specialist.

Throughout the year I may send book order forms home.  If you would like to purchase books for your child or other family members, you can do so by filling out the order form and returning it to school.  You can also access digital flyers with our class code which is VWMN3.  Scholastic will now send books you puchase to your home!  If you would like to check out what they have, here is the website.  Our class code is VWMN3.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me!  My e-mail address is and the school's phone number is 573-842-2625.  You may also ask for our class Remind code as well!

Here's to a great school year!
