Eriq Kristek

Hello,

I am Mr. Kristek and I am native to Waynesville. I attended the Waynesville R-VI School District from kindergarten to graduation. I was one of twenty students out of 425 to do so. It is for this reason that I understand some of the social hardships and benefits that being a Waynesville Tiger presents. I am here to help you navigate. I coach Middle School basketball and baseball. I am very passionate about sports; I shout Let's Go Blues! and I bleed Cardinal red. I am a huge Arkansas Razorback fan, so if I seem depressed on Mondays in the fall, you'll know why. I am married my favorite person February 2022. She is working at Williams Early Childhood Center with preschoolers.

I have been teaching in Waynesville since 2018 (teaching since 2017) and I am very excited to teach Geometry, as it is one of my favorite mathematical disciplines. It presents a lot of logical thinking, but don't let that scare you, it is just reasoning. For example, if the Razorbacks win on Saturday, Mr. Kristek will be in a good mood. We will explore shapes, angles, and, of course, build upon previously learned algebra skills.

I am here to help you succeed and will do whatever I can to help you achieve your goals. I am looking forward to this school year, even if it might be different than anything we have seen recently. We are Waynesville Tigers, we are strong and we will persevere.
