Welcome to the Art Room!
My focus is to provide students with Twenty-first century experiences which encourage the development of creativity and higher order thinking skills. In addition to traditional art making processes and techniques, students in my room explore digital photography and film making. They create power-points and use Web 2.0 both as a way of learning about art AND in the creation of art. Through blended literacy lessons, students learn about the importance of media literacy and understanding the (visual) world around them.

A little bit about your art teacher...
Hi! My name is Sheryl Lamme, this is my eleventh year as the art teacher here at Partridge. My husband is retired from the US Navy, so just like the majority of my students, I too have moved many times and lived many places.
I have a BSE in Art from University of Central Missouri, and am currently working towards a Masters in Art Education from the University of Missouri.
As an artist I enjoy creating with a variety of media. This is a picture of me making lampwork beads.
