Welcome to Coach Rawlings' Physical Education class page.  Our Physical Education classes at Freedom include a wide range of physical activities.   During the school year we engage in many activities and sports to promote physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle.  

Each year we have three special events for the students.  In the fall we have a district wide Cross Country Meet which is directly connected to the Presidential Fitness Challenge.  In the winter months our classes are involved in the Speed Stacks World Record Day event. This is a great activity that also helps to build self confidence in your child.   In the spring we have a district wide Track & Field Meet. 

It is my hope that your child will enjoy all or some aspects of physical education and carry that into their teenage and adult years to help them stay physically fit and healthy members of society. I encourage them to try to find something that will help them remain active in life.
