Welcome to 3rd Grade!!

     I am so excited to start off the new school year and look forward to having your child in my classroom. This will be my second year teaching in the Waynesville School District. I graduated from Lincoln University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and a Minor in Instructional Technology/eMINTS. 

  I believe parents play a crucial part in their child's education. I intend to keep parents updated on what is going on in the classroom by leaving comments and notes in their child's weekly MONDAY folder. This folder will have graded papers, the spelling list for the week, and notes from me. Please look over everything in the folder with your child, then by WEDNESDAY with the signed sheet inside return it to me. Also throughout the school year, I plan on keeping parents informed of positive remarks and concerns by contacting them with notes, emails, and phone calls. I will be happy for any parent to come in, at the point that they contact me and/or the school first.
