Welcome to Mrs. Shoemaker's Webpage

Welcome to a exciting school year at East Elementary.  There have been a lot of changes for this school year.  The Main Office is located in a construction trailer at the back of the parking lot temporarily.  This is just until the front of the building is completed.   My classroom is room 209.  It is located down the same hallway as Mrs. Trower's class was last year.  It is the first classroom on the right. I am excited to have the opportunity to teach your child(ren).  

We have five paraprofessionals in our room this year.  They will be working to assist the students in our room this year.  We will be using the computer program Starfall to begin with this year.  I am looking forward to an exciting school year of learning.  If you have any questions please email me at bshoemaker(at)waynesville.k12.mo.us or call me at 573-774-6179.  

We are currently learning rhyming words in Reading.  We are adding single digit numbers in Math.  We are learning short i words in Spelling.  In Language we are identifying nouns and verbs in a sentence.
