Let's  DO and LEARN about ART!!!

A new year is here! This year we are going to be learning about art from the past to the present.  Students will be visiting art museums from around the world through the internet, learning about famous artists and how they created their art. We will also be learning about the elements of design: color, line, shape, texture. value, and form. Our projects will include different media such as: paint, glue, crayons, clay, etc.  What is your favorite media?

PROJECTS ON DISPLAY:  Student projects will be on display in the hallways throughout the school year.  There are opportunities to shine with our Administration Building Art Show and the All District Art Show during the month of March.

COMING SOON: "Art To Remember" is a cool way keep student art work and have it put on things such as mouse pads, t-shirts, mugs etc.  COMING IN LATE SEPTEMBER EARLY OCTOBER!!!! Funds raised through this program go to the East Art Department.
