It is my pleasure to be a part of the East Elementary counseling department. I am a longtime employee of the Waynesville R-VI School District working previously at Pick Elementary on Fort Leonard Wood for 23 years. I taught 3rd grade there for 10 years, various other grades during summer school, and was the counselor there for 13 years. This year I am starting my second year at East. A job I truly love and enjoy. This year I am the Counselor for all of the Kindergarten classrooms and eight first grade classrooms. I am excited and look forward to partnering and working together with you to see that your child has a successful school career here at East.
My wife is a retired school librarian who subs for the Waynesville School District and works part time at our church as the interim children's coordinator. We have two daughters, Hannah and Rebecca. Hannah who is a junior at Waynesville High School and Rebecca who is in her first year of college at OTC in Springfield. We are active members in our local community and church. What a wonderful place to make home and family.
