Dr. Kevin Mabie has committed his past 17 years to education, but this is his first at Waynesville High School. He works with students in grades 10-12 who have last names that begin with A-K. Before working in administration, Dr. Mabie was an English teacher at Parkway Central. He loves to read and to swim. Additionally, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Kelly, and their four children: April, Cosette, Keaton, and Xavier.
Maya Angelou once said, “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” It is Dr. Mabie’s goal to live by this quote and to teach others how to inspire good feelings in others, daily.
