Are you considering getting your GED?
Congratulations on taking the first step towards your educational goals! Here is some important information to help you understand our program goals and potential outcomes.
Our class is set-up for individual lessons. Teachers work with students in the area of most need.
Because every student has different needs it is impossible to give a timeline of when one will finish the GED program. The more time and effort one puts into the program and one's starting skill level help determine when an individual is ready to take the GED test. To make significant gains toward getting a GED is important to attend class each night that we have class.
There is no cost associated with our program. The GED program is free to everyone. When you are ready to take the GED test, there is a cost associated with it. We do not administer the test to you; we only prepare you to take the test.
Already have your GED or high school diploma but want to score better on the ASVAB or college entrance exams, or job related testing? Our AEL program can assess your weak areas and help you focus on those specific skills and learn the concepts needed to score higher.
There are a few instances when classes are cancelled. Any day Waynesville is out of school due to holiday or weather, GED classes are also cancelled.
If you have further questions, do not hesitate to call Tina Woody at 573-774-6179 or e-mail her at twoody@waynesville.k12.mo.us.
Today's the day to make the decision to better yourself! What are you waiting for?
